Fonts
Fonts are restricted to a fixed list so pages stay fast and render consistently:
InterSpace GroteskJetBrains MonoDM SansIBM Plex SansNunitosystem-ui
system-ui is the fastest option — no font is downloaded at all.
Logo and favicon
Both are uploaded on the status page settings and can be removed later. Use an SVG or a suitably sized PNG; the favicon is what people see in a pinned tab during an outage, so it is worth setting.
Design advice
- Contrast over brand. A status page is read in a hurry, often on a phone, sometimes by someone stressed. If your brand colour is a pale grey on white, do not use it for the status indicators.
- Do not rely on colour alone. Glowo pairs colour with text and shape, and you should not undo that with a theme where every state looks similar.
- Test dark mode if you enable it. A logo with a transparent background and dark artwork disappears.
